Widening Participation panel event

Partnership event with The Brilliant Club on campus
The Student Recruitment and Widening Participation teams are delighted to be hosting a 'Friends of The Brilliant Club' event to celebrate 5 years of the charity working in partnership with the University. We will be hosting a panel discussion focusing on the topic: ‘What are the barriers to university access in the North West?’. This event aims to reflect on what has already been achieved but the work still to be done in the region.
As part of the evening, we will be joined by Professor Ruth Lupton, from the Manchester Institute of Education, Dr Carly Wright, from the Cedar Mount Academy and other panellists from across the sector. We hope that hearing a range of different perspectives will provide valuable insights into the regional education landscape in the North West. The panel session will be followed by drinks and networking.
The event takes place on Wednesday, 4 December at 6:00pm in the University Place Building. If you’re interested in attending this free event, please sign via Eventbrite.
