Centre for New Writing's Alumna Reshma Ruia has poetry book published

‘A Dinner Party in the Home Counties’ by Reshma Ruia, published by Skylark on Friday 25 October 2019, is the debut poetry collection of this acclaimed novelist and short story writer whose previous work includes A Mouthful of Silence (2014), and Something Black in the Lentil Soup (2003). Reshma Ruia was awarded the Word Masala Debut Poet 2019 Award by the judges in April 2019 at the Matwaala Literary Festival in New York and has received favourable reviews from Lemn Sissay, Todd Swift, Rishi Dastidar and Cyril Dabydeen among others.
