MUMs Chamber Orchestra

From an early symphony by Carl Stamitz and Mozart’s Violin Concerto No.5, featuring Katherine Stonham, to the music of the 20th Century in Pulcinella (Suite) by Stravinsky, this concert exemplifies two extremes of the chamber music repertoire. Join James Hume for a pre-concert talk as he discusses the implications of Stravinsky’s Pulcinella in comparison to that of the traditional classical music of Stamitz and Mozart.

There will be a pre-concert talk at 6.15pm.
