Helping Refugees Past and Present (Part of Journeys Festival International)
10 Oct 2019
4pm, Friday 11 October Milk and Honey Café, St Peter's House
You are invited to attend an event to help you understand why people engage in refugee work, the specific areas they’ve addressed, the challenges they encounter, but importantly, what keeps them going.
The event will link broad historical research and everyday practice in Manchester with input from a range of local charities and support groups.
Hosted by Ria Sunga (PhD Candidate, History, University of Manchester).
Part of Journeys Festival International Manchester (4 - 13 October 2019)
