Learn self-defence – and more – with The University of Manchester Busy Bees
The University Women’s Institute (WI) will be having a martial arts and self-defence demonstration on Thursday, 3 October.
Martial arts instructor Karl McViety, from KMMA Oldham, in the UMSA Lounge on the ground floor of the Simon Building’s Wellbeing Rooms, from 1-2pm.
The WI are recruiting new members, and would like to invite any colleagues who identify as female to join us for this session, and to consider joining our group.
Meetings are on Thursdays in the UMSA Lounge on the ground floor of the Simon Building’s Wellbeing Rooms, from 1-2pm. The first Thursday of the month is our main meeting with a programme of speakers and activities.
For this week’s martial arts session, there is a charge of £3 for non-members.
