Join UMRun on North campus and Run Together to get fit, make friends and have fun
Did you know that nearly 7 million people in the UK run at least twice a month?
If you would like to add to that number (or return to being part of the gang), then why not come along to a new Tuesday lunchtime running group based on North campus?
If you are an absolute beginner in your gardening trainers or old PE plimsolls or someone who is comfy with up to a 5km distance but would like to improve, then this is the group for you. No previous experience is needed!
We will take you on a training plan to help you build up your time or distance running in a friendly and fun atmosphere. You will learn the basics and get to learn how to protect yourself from injury. More importantly you’ll meet new people, give yourself a break from the office, lab or studies and recharge those batteries.

The details
Meet at 1pm at the Barnes Wallis Hub (ground floor). Sign in with your qualified Leader in Running Fitness and drop off your bag. The session will start with a warm up at 1.10pm and finish at 1.45pm to give you time to get changed and back to your desk by 2pm.
