Stationery amnesty
09 Sep 2019
Do you have any unwanted stationery lurking in the back of a cupboard and wonder what to do with it?
The University is holding a stationery amnesty from Thursday, 12 September to Thursday, 27 September 2019 in the Old Visitors Centre, ground floor of the Whitworth Building (building 51 on the map below) and you are encouraged to bring good condition unwanted stationery items.

What are we going to do with this unloved stationery?
Firstly, we would encourage staff to come and look at the stock pile to see if any of it can be re-used internally. If it can’t, we are working with Chariot Office Supplies to repurpose these items internal or donate to local charities and primary schools.
Any items that can’t be reused will be sustainably disposed of (e.g. plastics/cardboard recycled etc) with a minimum going to landfill.
What items are we looking for?
