Staff benefits update
22 Aug 2019
Ahead of the hot Bank Holiday weekend there are wellbeing, travel and leisure updates!
Wellbeing
Don’t forget the Be Active Summer programme runs until the end of August. There are classes for beginners right up to high intensity workouts!
Travel
There’s been some confusion recently about the 147 bus service, and which journeys are free. This has now been confirmed by Estates with Stagecoach.
A £25 low deposit is available with Cottages.com for November and December breaks plus the usual staff discount and there are hundreds of last minute breaks from £350.
Leisure
With the Ashes in full swing, the Premier League (and myriad cups) underway and the Rugby World Cup just around the corner. What better way to get a feel for the action (outside of box tickets to finals!) than some stadium tours filled with behind-the-scenes views and more than a few secrets and stories? Access 20% discount with Virgin Experiences.
Fabland is at Drayton Manor this Bank Holiday weekend. Brought to you by the delicious fab ice lolly, this play park is set to keep the kids (and grownups) entertained! Complete with sprinkle geysers, huge slides, a lolly stick wobbly bridge and much more, this event is not to be missed! When: 24th – 26th August. How much: FREE when you purchase park tickets! Where: located by VertiGO at entrance 2. All still included in the Drayton Manor summer offer for just £16!
Visit our secure staff discounts for Merlin updates. These include updates on the Merlin Annual Pass and Warwick Castle (staff can purchase tickets for £13.50 until 1st September).
Friska on University Green offer 10% discount and have a number of deals you can still access in August!
