Come to our Community Festival
13 Jun 2019
On Saturday, 15 June the University will be opening our doors to the local community
Ever fancied walking on custard? How about trying your hand at making your own 3D model? Or perhaps you’d like to journey around sites of world-changing discoveries here at the University? These are just a few things that are happening at our Community Festival this weekend. The Festival showcases some of the great work that takes place here and invites our local community to learn more and get involved.
This free Festival is jam-packed with fun activities for all the family. Whether you want to get hands-on or just want to listen to some fascinating stories and watch music performance from across the city we’ve got it covered.
The University’s Community Festival showcases our cutting-edge research. Over the years the University has been home to some world-changing discoveries in science, medicine and the arts, contributing to Manchester’s history as the birthplace of new ideas.
On Saturday, 15 June we’re inviting you our staff along with your friends and family to join our local neighbours to go behind the scenes of the University and discover the exciting work taking place here.
Join us for a fun-filled day of hands-on activities, live music and performances, live experiments and much more!
