A new way to say thank you

Show your colleagues your appreciation with our new thank you scheme

Here at the University, we know that appreciation is a fundamental human need, and we strive to encourage a culture of recognition and gratitude. To build stronger relationships and teams, and help bring colleagues together, Karen Heaton, the Director of Human Resources is proud to be launching our new Peer to Peer thank you scheme. 

Karen says: “Everyone enjoys receiving a thank you in a timely and sincere way. Our new scheme will allow all staff to send an eCard from a range of designs to their colleagues. It will make it easier to show thanks for small and large accomplishments, and encourage the culture of gratitude amongst teams and across the campus.”

From this month the Reward and Benefits Team will also be working with the PS Leaders and local senior management to launch a new thank you scheme that will make it easier for line managers to give gifts of up to £100 to their staff, as tokens of appreciation for great work or actions.
