Jane and Team Glow cycling for Prevent Breast Cancer

On Sunday, 2 June Jane Hardman from the Division of Campus Life will be part of a team of 20 women cycling the CWM Sportive in support of Prevent Breast Cancer, a Manchester-based charity
Jane is a member of Team Glow, a women's cycle group in South Manchester. One of the team members riding on Sunday was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in April 2016. Early diagnosis and other screening in addition to mammogram may have had an impact on her outcome.
Prevent Breast Cancer is the only UK charity funding research solely aimed at predicting and preventing breast cancer. Their research will one day bring about a world where breast cancer is preventable and thousands are saved from ever experiencing this disease.
