Exhibition at the Whitworth explores what it means to be a teenager

14 May 2019

Prints of Darkness is at the Whitworth until 4 August 2019

A new intervention by students from Fred Longworth High School, Tyldesley and Twitter sensation, Cold War Steve in the existing show 'Goya and Hogarth, Prints of Darkness' is on at the Whitworth.

This project explored how the arts help young people find their voice, to articulate their story and address stereotypes of youth.

Pupils have answered the question: What do you want to say to the world today about being a teenager in Britain?

The students were invited to share their passions, politics and perceptions of youth in this new exhibition intervention that featured on BBC Breakfast.
