Universities UK responds to the USS 2018 actuarial valuation consultation

UUK summary of employer responses includes that of our University

Universities UK (UUK) has written to the USS Trustee with a summary of employer responses to the 2018 valuation technical provisions consultation, including their views on the proposed contingent contributions arrangement.

The responses – which include that of our University – together represent 89% of the active member population of USS. UUK believes this represents a credible level of response to the consultation.

Here at Manchester, we know how important pensions are to our staff and people who will work at our University in the future, so we have welcomed the opportunity to have an input into the process.

Our submission was made available to staff last week.
