Which charity will you choose?
05 Feb 2019
All this week, vote for three charities to receive our Staff Survey donation.
Your voice and your vote counts
By completing the Staff Survey 2019, not only will you be able to influence future plans for the University, but you’ll be benefitting others. For each completed survey, the University will donate £1 to a local charity.
All this week we’re asking you to vote for the local charities who’ll receive our pledge, by selecting three from the list of eight in this poll. You’ll then be asked at the end of the survey which charity you want the University to donate to on your behalf.
How our donations benefitted Moodswings last time
In 2017, Moodswings – who supports people with mood disorders – was one of our chosen charities. Our donation was put towards building a community café, which was the dream of the charity’s late Chair and Founder, Tom McAlpine.
Complete the poll
You have until 12 noon on Monday, 11 February 2019 to vote for your charities. Complete the poll and we’ll let you know the results next week.
Your thoughts count
Staff Survey 2019 launches on Monday, 4 March and runs until Monday, 8 April.
You will receive an email or, if you don’t work at a computer, be given the chance to fill in the Staff Survey form. It only takes around 15 minutes to complete, and you can be sure that all the information you supply will be anonymous and treated in strictest confidence. This is because the Staff Survey 2019 is being administered on the University’s behalf by an external company, Capita.
The survey results will be published in June.
