Day 7 of the 12 Days of Learning: Your wellbeing
24 Jan 2019
The University is committed to supporting your wellbeing.
One of the ways in which we do this is through the range of resources provided by Staff Learning and Development.
Our resources
- The Learning and Development Toolkit (found by clicking the lightbulb in Quick Links on StaffNet) has a range of content to support your wellbeing, including Mindfulness for Leaders and Managers and Assessing Wellbeing in the Workplace.
- We also provide access to LinkedIn’s learning platform Lynda, which has training and tutorials on a wide range of subjects, including best practices for Working Remotely and Enhancing Resilience.
If you do not have access to Lynda, email StaffLD@manchester.ac.uk
The University provides a plethora of support and guidance on wellbeing on our StaffNet pages. This includes details of the Six Ways to Wellbeing, our Wellbeing blog and information on all our other wellbeing resources, such as how to manage stress or report a work-related grievance.
Our coaching service
For support during a difficult period or for help discovering methods to improve your performance and wellbeing, we are happy to offer staff access to a coaching service, which is available both online and in the classroom.
However you choose to learn this year, it can have a huge impact on your overall wellbeing. What will you learn in 2019? Share your learning for 2019 by tweeting @SLD_UoM and use #InspireandBeInspired
