Our Future: All of your ideas are now online

Over 700 ideas generated by 4,000 colleagues among the submissions are now online
University staff are now able to access all of the ideas generated as part of Our Future which took place from September to November to help determine the University’s new vision and strategic plan.
Approximately four thousand of you submitted ideas, either through team, department or School sessions, Big Events or individually online. Our students, alumni and pupils and teachers from local schools also put forward their ideas for our future.
Ideas ranged from discussion about our purpose in the city and in the wider world and how we do things at the University.

What happens next?
Our Senior Leadership Team is now working with the breadth of ideas to support the development of the vision, which the Board of Governors will sign off in 2019. Your ideas will also help drive thinking about how we achieve our vision, with the creation of our next University strategic plan. You will have further opportunity to be involved in thinking about the how we achieve our vision after the winter vacation and progress will be shared with you as this process continues.
