Promote our annual Postgraduate Study Fair to students
26 Oct 2018
This is a brilliant opportunity for our student to meet with representatives from universities throughout the UK and overseas, and find out more about the variety of postgraduate course places on offer
Whilst we regularly host all types of graduate employers on campus and at careers fairs, further study warrants just as much attention with regards to making students aware of their options after University.
Graduates who begin further study within 15 months of completing their first degree positively contribute to the national employability metrics that the University is part of – measured through the new Graduate Outcomes Survey which has replaced the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE).
Organised by the Careers Service, the Postgraduate Study Fair will take place at Manchester Central Convention Centre on Wednesday, 14 November, from 12:30pm-3.30pm.
Following on from our own Postgraduate Taught and Research Open Days it features over 70 institutions, from across the UK and Europe, all offering courses and further training for September 2019.
As well as a huge number of universities, there will also be a number of advisory bodies such as FindAMasters.com and FindAPhD.Com There are also a series of talks also taking place at the fair covering Postgraduate Study Loans, and how to fund postgraduate study.
