New arrangements for document shredding service

The University's paper shredding and disposal service is now being run through Restore Datashred
This service is centrally funded, and replaces the numerous local contracts which were held with the previous supplier, Shred-It.
As this service is now provided centrally any member of staff can use any Restore console to dispose of confidential paper records.
Our aim is to provide comprehensive console coverage of the University, so if you do not have easy access to a shredding console, please contact Alan Carter in the Information Governance Office to arrange delivery of a new one.
Similarly, for one-off collections of confidential paper waste, shredding bags or any other questions regarding the new shredding service, contact Alan Carter on 0161 275 8111.
