Campaign to celebrate our colleagues and their essential work here on campus – action from Staff Survey 2017
Staff Survey 2017 revealed – among other themes – the perception of Professional Services (PS) staff feeling less valued, compared to their research and teaching colleagues.
There was a notable disparity between how PS staff perceived they were valued (67%) compared with research staff (93%) and teaching staff (95%).
But at the same time, a whopping 91% of PS staff said that they felt proud to work at the University.
An action was set as part of the PS Staff Survey Action Group to develop and implement an internal campaign that would raise the profile of PS staff and the essential roles they play here on campus. It also highlights what makes them proud to work for the University.
The work that PS colleagues do is integral to the overarching goals of the University: our good student, research and social responsibility outcomes.
