Allowing experienced professionals in the education sector to pursue doctoral studies
The University is holding an information evening for anyone interested in pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Education; a qualification equivalent to a PhD in both standards and workload, designed to allow experienced professionals in the education sector to pursue doctoral studies working.
The event will be held on Wednesday 4 July between 5.00pm and 7.00pm in University Place.
Come along to find out more about the programme, and to get a better understanding of how it differs from a PhD in Education.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Attend a presentation and Q&A with the course tutor
- Speak to admissions staff with any queries on entry requirements, fees and funding
- Discuss the programme with current and previous students
- Network with other potential applicants
The EdD in Education is ideal for applicants with a master’s degree and considerable experience in their professional field. The qualification can support promotion to senior management roles within education or facilitate entry into Higher Education teaching.
