Research costing tool - supplier demonstrations

We are gathering requirements to replace pFACT - our current research costing tool

In the Research Lifecycle Newsletter on 16 May, we explained we are gathering requirements to replace our current research costing tool pFACT.

The project team have been inviting suppliers to demonstrate their research costing tool products to help understand and prioritise what the University may want out of a costing tool.

Three demonstrations have been scheduled, all between 11.30am and 1pm.

The first 60 minutes will be the product demonstration, followed by a 30 minute question and answer session with the supplier. There will be an opportunity to leave after the first hour for those who cannot attend to the full 90 minutes.

During the session you will be asked to note down any comments or suggested requirements for our replacement costing tool.

If you’d like to attend a demonstration, please email your name, role and demonstration name(s) to ResearchCostingTool@manchester.ac.uk . Venues will be confirmed shortly and will be on Main Campus.

Please note the demonstrations are a scoping exercise only. They do not form part of a procurement process.
