The University of Manchester's Science & Engineering Education Research and Innovation Hub have won an award in the category of reputation at the Chemical Industry Awards
On Thursday 14 June the University’s Science & Engineering Education Research and Innovation Hub (SEERIH) won a national reputation award at the Chemical Industry Awards. Having already successfully won the regional award, this is a fantastic achievement for the team. The award is given in recognition of an organisation who demonstrates excellence and innovation in building and enhancing its reputation and that of the chemical industry.
SEERIH are the team behind The Great Science Share for Schools, which will be taking place on campus and all over the country on 19 June. The Great Science Share for Schools is a national campaign aimed to inspire young people into science and engineering. It aims to engage young people in sharing their science with new audiences. This year marks an increased national roll out with over 30,000 children taking part.
