IT Services launches new 60-second survey

04 Jun 2018

IT Services at The University of Manchester has launched a quick 60-second survey to inform the areas of prioritisation for IT Modernisation

All members of staff are invited to take part in the survey over the next two weeks. The survey will collect a score from staff who will be asked to rate the capability of IT Services’ people, processes, technology and business engagement. Staff can select a score of 0 to 5 (0 is where process, service or capability is non-existent, whereas 5 is an optimal score).

The survey is completely anonymous and confidential and the scores, once analysed, will be used to prioritise areas of the IT Modernisation programme. There is a dedicated page with more information on how to score as well as the all-important link to the survey.

You can find out more about the IT Modernisation programme watching a short video from Malcolm Whitehouse CBE, Director of IT at the University of Manchester.

IT Services intends to run the survey on a regular basis. This way there will be opportunities for staff to provide up to date views, as well as an assessment on how well IT Services are improving.

To make it as representative as possible of the very varied nature of all staff at the University, we would really like to encourage everyone to participate. Everybody’s view is equally important.

The survey opens for responses on Monday 4 June and closes on Friday 22 June. The results will be shared with staff in July.
