Join Open Iftar 2018 during Ramadan
31 May 2018
Open Iftar is back for its fifth year outside University Place from 4 until 6 June
Open Iftar is a volunteer-run initiative that seeks to 'unite the community of the simple act of sharing a meal' during Ramadan.
Join the Ramadan Tent Project team from 8pm as they host free Iftar (breaking of the fast during Ramadan) for all who attend. Every night speakers and performers from across Manchester come to talk about the important work they do in our city.
This year speakers include representatives from the Central Library, Princes Trust, Manchester International Festival, the University's Manchester Access Programme and many more!
Anyone is welcome so feel free to bring friends, family and colleagues.
Come along and celebrate the amazing talent our city has to offer. Fasting is encouraged but not required and vegetarian and meat options will be available every night.
