Phased roll out of online P&DR system continues
04 May 2018
Access to the online system has been extended to more staff for the 2018 review cycle
The next phase of the University Performance and Development Review (P&DR) system is being rolled out to research staff and PSS staff in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Heath (FBMH) for the 2018 review cycle.
The roll out will be in two phases as follows:
- Phase 1: From 18 June to end of July 2018 – PSS staff in FBMH and research staff in: Alliance Manchester Business School, School of Social Sciences, School of Health Science (specific Divisions only);
- Phase 2: August – October 2018 – research staff in all remaining Schools.
Staff who are part of the phase one roll out have already been sent further information on the process and details of the available support.
Karen Heaton, Director of Human Resources said: “P&DRs are a valuable tool to enable all staff to be successful in their roles, and provide the opportunity to discuss how the University can provide support to achieve this. Through feedback from the Staff Survey we know that the current P&DR process is not working as effectively as it might and so we are committed to making improvements, which include moving to an online system to capture the outcomes of the P&DR process.”
The online P&DR system was successfully rolled out to the majority of PSS staff two years ago and now the implementation process continues for research staff in four Schools and PSS staff in FBMH.
The implementation to all remaining staff, including academic staff, will be completed during 2019.
