New Staff Privacy Notice
As part of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which comes into force on 25 May 2018, the University has created a ‘Privacy Notice’ for staff which explains your rights as an employee in relation to the information we hold about you.
This is because the University collects and processes personal identifying information (PII) relating to each member of staff in order to manage your employment at the University. All organisations need to review how they manage the data they collect, and that includes data about their staff.
We are committed to being transparent about how we collect and use this data and so we have created this Privacy Notice so ensure this is clear.
