Calling all Mathematicians

Information needed for Maths and Numeracy Attainment Gap Project

The University’s Institute of Education and Widening Participation Team are working with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority to identify ways in which the attainment gap that exists in maths performance across Greater Manchester schools can be closed. 

The team are interested in work that is currently taking place which has a focus on maths/numeracy. This can include research, outreach activities, teacher CPD, curriculum development and support for our own students.

If you have any involvement with these activities please complete this short survey here.  

The Education and Widening Participation Team are also collecting information regarding the maths/numeracy work delivered by the University to current students. This work can be as part of taught modules or as optional support activities.
