Brisbane Street to close until April 2019

Due to the Contact Theatre refurbishment project, Brisbane Street will close soon

The Contact Theatre refurbishment project commences on Monday, 26 March 2018, and to ensure the safety of University staff, students and the public at large, it is necessary to close Brisbane Street for the duration of the scheme. Brisbane Street should reopen in April 2019.

Dilworth Street car park users, who accessed the car park via the Devas Street barrier, will need to find an alternative route for the duration of the Contact Theatre project.

Faculties and Schools who have previously organised visitor parking at Dilworth Street car park, via the Devas Street barrier, will need to provide alternative route directions for visitors during the next 12 months.

Access for vehicles servicing the Samuel Alexander Building, Students' Union and the Academy via the Devas Street barriers remains unaffected.
