Update on USS

The employer consultation process in relation to proposed changes to the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) was due to commence on 19 March 2018, for a period of 64 days

Whilst the decision to propose changes to USS made by the Joint Negotiating Committee (the group responsible for deciding on USS benefit changes) on 23 January 2018 still stands, the consultation on these benefit proposals has been placed on hold at this time and therefore will not open on 19 March as originally proposed.
