A personal and professional development programme for University Staff with disabilities
Achieving Your Potential is a personal and professional development programme for University of Manchester staff with disabilities.
This dynamic programme is now in its fifth year and is aimed at all staff who consider themselves to have a disability. Through a mixture of workshops and one-to-one coaching, colleagues will be enabled to take more control over their personal and professional lives, to develop resilience and thrive at work, set and achieve personal goals and develop as positive role models for others.
Feedback from previous participants has been overwhelmingly positive:
“This course has been the best thing I have ever done to increase my confidence around talking about my disability.”
“For the first time I have seen the positive aspects of having a disability.”
“This course has been life-changing and my colleagues and my manager have noticed huge differences in me. I am far better able to negotiate complex situations and plan future development.”
