Predictions of an easy life for humans while robots do most of the work were not necessarily on the money, according to two of our professors in an article they wrote for The Conversation.
Tony Dundon, Professor of HRM and Employment Relations, and Debra Howcroft, Professor of Technology and Organisation, argue that the gig economy in which workers will ‘mix it up’ between a variety of jobs will benefit their employers much more.
