Space: Lates at the Museum of Science and Industry

19 Jan 2018

Volunteers needed for space themed activities

Tim Peake's Soyuz space capsule is landing at the Museum of Science and Industry and to mark the occasion the Museum will be open for Space: Lates on Wednesday 14 March.

Lates at the Museum are informal, adult-only events that combine hands-on activities, Ted-style talks and demonstrations with a bar which start at 7pm until 10pm.

The Museum of Science and Industry work with scientists and researchers from across the country to bring an exciting and innovative programme to our visitors.  Previous Lates at the Museum have attracted up to 1000 visitors presenting a great opportunity for public engagement.

The Museum is looking for space-themed interactive activities and projects to showcase exciting contemporary research that will inspire young adult audiences.
