Bogdanow Lectures in Holocaust Studies

11 Jan 2018

The Centre for Jewish Studies presents the annual Bogdanow Lectures in Holocaust Studies: 'Bystanders and the Holocaust in Poland'

Bogdanow lectures 2018

The Bogdanow Lectures in Holocaust Studies for 2018 will be delivered by Prof. Jan Grabowski from the University of Ottawa.

The series is entitled 'Bystanders and the Holocaust in Poland' and he will give lectures on 'Bystanders and the Holocaust in Poland' and 'The Polish "Blue" Police and its Role in the Implementation of the "Final Solution"' on 29 and 30 January 2018.

The Bogdanow Lecture Series, which coincides with Holocaust Memorial Day on 27 January, was made possible as a result of the generous bequest to the University by Fanni Bogdanow (1927-2013), a former Professor of French and Medieval Studies at Manchester and a child refugee on the Kindertransporte.

Further Information and booking:

These events are free and everyone is welcome. The events are open to the public; there is no need to book a place.
