Strike action by Arriva North West and Northern Rail

Disruption to services week commencing 8 January

Industrial action is likely to cause significant disruption to rail services provided by Northern (Arriva Rail North) on Monday 8, Wednesday 10 and Friday 12 January.

Most Northern services will be working to a revised timetable and it is expected that alternative rail routes, as well as buses, trams and roads will be busier as passengers alter journey plans. Journey times are expected to be longer as well, particularly in the morning and evening peaks.
