29 Nov 2017
Cake sales and red ribbon boxes around campus are raising money for National AIDS Trust on Friday, 1 December
The LGBT Staff Network Group ALLOUT is hosting a number of bake sales on Friday, 1 December to raise money for the National AIDS Trust.
Their work helps the millions of people from different communities impacted by this disease.
The University has been supporting World AIDS day for several years and last year we raised a staggering £1,800. We hope you can help pass this total by buying a cake or red ribbon from one of the following locations:
- Arthur Lewis – Ground Floor Foyer 11am - 1pm
- Ellen Wilkinson - Reception - all morning
- John Owens Building – Ground Floor G.006
- Simon Building – outdoor pop-up gazebo
Red ribbons are also available at different receptions on campus: Human Resources, Staff Learning, The Student’s Union, The Chaplaincy, The Library, Alan Gilbert Learning Commons and other outlets.
