Dr Maria Regan at the Division of Medical Education has been awarded a Certificate of Achievement in recognition for her ten years volunteering service at St Ann’s Hospice.

St Ann’s Hospice is one of the oldest and largest adult hospices outside of London that care for patients across Greater with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Maria was recently presented with her award by St Ann’s Hospice CEO, Eamonn O'Neal at a special award ceremony.

She said: “Being involved in St Ann’s Hospice has given me a great sense of doing something valuable for the community and an opportunity to bring a small amount of comfort to families in extremely challenging situations.  St Ann’s is now such a big part of my life - I get so much out of volunteering for the charity.”
