Tell your students about our Volunteering and Social Justice Fair
11 Oct 2017
Students and staff welcome to meet a diverse range of charities and find volunteering opportunities
The University is hosting its annual Volunteering and Social Justice Fair on Tuesday, 17 October in Academy 1.
The Fair is a great chance for students to talk to a diverse range of charities and not-for-profit organisations and find volunteering opportunities to get involved with during their time at university. Up to 100 different volunteering organisations will be at the Fair from a wide range of sectors including cultural, environmental, health, sport and social inclusion.
The new online Social Justice Challenge, the Ethical Grand Challenge for second-year students, will be launched at the Fair. The Social Justice Challenge is a key step towards achieving the Manchester Leadership Award.
So promote the Fair to all your students. Over 2,000 visitors attended the Fair last year. All students and staff are welcome to attend.
Doors open at 11am and close at 3pm.
