Send your junk email to IT Services

The University’s email system ‘learns’ how to handle junk email, thanks to your input
In April this year, we made changes to our email service to help us to deal with the increasing number of junk messages being sent to University email accounts. This resulted in a noticeable reduction in unwanted emails.
Did you know that you can help to improve our filtering system even more by ‘teaching’ it about the different types of junk mail that scammers use to spread their unsolicited messages?
All you need to do is follow a very quick three-step process to submit any junk mail that manages to get through our filters and end up in your inbox. It takes less than ten seconds to report your junk email – and you can report multiple messages at the same time.
You can also report hoax ‘phishing’ emails which try to steal your details by posing as legitimate notifications. (Always remember, IT Services will never ask you to tell us your password and you should report any attempt to get it from you.)
Every single submission goes towards keeping you and the University safe from unwanted and nuisance emails.
