Vote to get the University onto the programme for next year’s SXSW Conference programme, helping to promote Manchester as a city of innovation and a key place to do business
The University has been part of a city of Manchester delegation at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival Tech Trade show for the past two years, representing Manchester as a digital hub and city of innovation.
This year’s delegation was led by the Manchester Growth Company and included the City Council and Manchester Science Partnerships with high profile speakers such as Council leader Sir Richard Leese and MSP Chief Executive Officer Rowena Burns.
There is ambition to grow the Manchester presence further and a number of panel session submissions have been made featuring university academics.
