The Manchester Museum are celebrating Volunteer Week this Saturday

There are up to 200 volunteers at the museum who give their time and share their skills and knowledge in so many different ways. 

On Saturday, 3 June, as part of Volunteer Week 2017, Manchester Museum will be dedicating a day to celebrate what we love about volunteering and sharing the reason why people want to help and support each other and the causes they care about.

Meet our marvellous volunteers who will be all over the museum sharing what they do and their stories. 

Experience the variety of ways our volunteers enrich a visit to Manchester Museum and what they get up to behind the scenes - there's a chance to give it a go and lend a hand yourself.

There will also be activities for the whole family including some crafty micro-volunteering for causes across Manchester - get the family together to make a difference!
