The thoughts of everyone at our University are with those affected by the shocking events which unfolded at the Manchester Arena on Monday night.
Our University will come together to offer support during this difficult time to our students, staff and others in the wider Manchester community.
We will endeavour to carry on business as usual.
Rail and tram services to and from Manchester Victoria station have now resumed, with services running as usual.You can get the latest travel updates from www.tfgm.com or @OfficialTfGM

For students
Support related to the impact on academic performance, including exams, is available through the usual support staff in Schools. In addition, students can contact the Counselling Service to arrange to be seen either in small groups or individually to help them manage the immediate impact and make decisions about how to take care of themselves over the coming days.
