TV historian Michael Wood to talk about philanthropy on Facebook Live
06 Apr 2017
All this week we’re celebrating the impact of donations at the University
Today (Thursday) we’re looking at how our world-class campus has benefitted from the support of donors. We’re also welcoming over 350 of our donors to visit us as part of the Celebration of Philanthropy event.
At 4pm, Professor Michael Wood, who has been a regular face on our TV screens for over three decades, will be in conversation with University historian Dr James Hopkins, talking about revolutionary philanthropy at Manchester. This will be live-streamed on the University’s Facebook page.
You can read more about the impact of donations old and new on the University’s campus on the Manchester Giving blog.
