Women in Science and Engineering society to hear all about an inspiring career
Tomorrow, President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell will discuss her career as a woman in science in a lecture from Women in Science and Engineering (WISE), a student society at the University.
The event is one a series of events around campus being held to celebrate International Women’s Day.
The society's President Charlotte Cooke said the team were delighted to play host to such an inspiring speaker: “Using those abilities and those skills you got in your degree, you can go anywhere you want – and that’s really inspirational.”
