Open seminar on sexual violence on campus

Perspectives from Manchester and Columbia universities
Shamus Khan is Professor of Sociology at Columbia University and has been running a major project on sexual violence on University campuses.
On Monday, 6 March Shamus will join us at the University to share his project's findings and consider forms of institutional change that might address the problem.
This seminar will also feature presentations from Cath Prescott, Equality and Diversity Adviser for the University, and Jenni Smyth, UMSU Women's Officer.
This seminar runs from 11am until 12.30pm in room 1.219 University Place and is open to all University staff and students. No booking is required.
