Solutions for Tomorrow’s World: How do you solve infrastructure problems before they become a threat? Hear from our panel of experts on Thursday, 23 February in University Place:
- Professor Ian Cotton, Triangulum Project, The University of Manchester
- Chris Ogelsby, Chief Executive, Bruntwood
- Thomas Renn, Managing Director, MSP
- Professor Mark Elliot, Professor of Data Science, The University of Manchester
As part of this event Interface and Oliver Heath Design will be creating a fascinating multi-sensory Biophilic Design installation on the ground floor of University Place (pictured above).
Biophilia (meaning "a love of nature") is a subject at the forefront of sustainable design thinking. The installation will demonstrate how taking a human centred approach to the design of the workplace and improving the human connection to nature, can create distinct and tangible business advantages. These include a rise in productivity, creativity and wellbeing with a decrease in absenteeism and presenteeism.
Come and visit to find out how buildings are becoming smarter, happier and healthier...naturally.
- 5.45pm-6.30pm: Registration, drinks reception and installation viewing
- 6.30pm-7.50pm: Panel debate followed by audience Q&A
