Manchester among world’s best international student cities

We jump 13 places in table ranked by factors like safety, liveability and employment
Manchester has been ranked among the best cities in the world for international students in a ranking compiled by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, global higher education analysts and compiler of the QS World University Rankings.
The city has been placed at 23rd, a rise of 13 places from last year’s table. The ranking is based on a survey of 18,000 international students and factors such as safety, liveability and employment of students.
The University has students from more than 160 countries and is based in one of the UK’s most diverse cities. Manchester is world-famous for sport, culture and the spirit of discovery which has led to 25 Nobel prize winners either having worked or studied at the University.
