Display Screen Equipment Assessors Training
25 Jan 2017
This course aims to improve understanding and train participants in conducting suitable and sufficient Display Screen Equipment Risk Assessments, in order to reduce health effects associated with their use
Display screen equipment (DSE) has been blamed, often wrongly, for a wide range of health problems. In fact only a small proportion of users suffer any ill effects as a result of their work. This course aims to improve understanding and train participants in the carrying out of suitable and sufficient Display Screen Equipment Risk Assessments, with the aim of reducing associated health effects from their use.
We now offer a blended learning experience, allowing would-be DSE Assessors to complete part of the course online before refining their skills and gaining confidence with the support and guidance of a University Safety Co-ordinator in a practical workshop.
