Celebrating LGBT History Month throughout February
11 Jan 2017
LGBT History Month has been marked in the UK since 2005 and at the University we have held events every February since 2010
With 2017 marking 50 years since the decriminalisation of homosexuality, it is fitting that the theme is ‘PSHE, Citizenship and Law’.
This year, we have a variety of events covering different aspects of the LGBT Community. All the events are free to attend and open to all staff and students at the University, so we hope there is something of interest to everyone. Even if you do not identify as LGBT you may want to find out more about a particular aspect, offer support to a friend, colleague or family member or even find out how you can be more involved.
