Athena Swan, the impact of its projects on women and the wider network.
The seminar will be delivered by, Patrick Johnson, Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Dr Sarah Mohammed-Qureshi, Athena SWAN Co-ordinator on Thursday 26th January 2017, (12.30 - 1.30), at the Kanaris theatre, Manchester museum.
Athena SWAN is a gender equality award specifically for the higher education sector. It covers both academic and PSS staff. It has grown in prominence over the last five years and specifically since it has been linked to research funding.
The seminar will look at the impact of Athena SWAN and other gender related activities at the University and consider the key priorities for the future.
It will be of interest to anyone who wants to find out about good practice from Athena SWAN and gender related activity across the university.
