All you need to know about Resources
StaffNet is a hugely important internal website, giving University staff who work online the information and resources they need to do their jobs well – last year it received 3.8 million visits.
Our new version – created by the Division of Communications and Marketing last year – gives you much better access to the information and services you need and it’s responsive on all your devices. The launch has resulted in an increase of new visitors by 15%.
The top menu features an extremely useful section on Resources, detailing all the measures and processes available at the University to help staff do their job efficiently and effectively.
As always, the information is laid out in clear, easily navigable boxes – and each explains “how to”.
There’s how to book – from meeting rooms and AV equipment to rooms at the University hotel.
There’s how to access – documents, images and much more, from Blackboard to Suppliers Database, all in alphabetical order.
There’s how to change your information; how to report an accident or security issue; how to download documents; how to submit documents; and there’s how to join, whether it be services, groups or networks.
The Resources page of StaffNet offers a huge amount of information as well as how to use all that information to improve your work life.
Many colleagues agree that the new version of StaffNet is a vast improvement. Feedback includes:
“Even on first use finding what I was looking for was quick and easy and the layout and structure is very clear. For me the new site is a significant improvement.”
